30777 Sir Lamiel - We are now at the re-assembly stage of the locomotives' overhaul.. The boiler has had a recent NDT examination and we will imminently be placing an order for the boiler tubes.
In total we will need
169 small tubes at £47 each
24 flue tubes at £250 each
24 bottle ends at £100 each
This appeal gives you a fantastic chance to donate to something specific and tangible that will contribute greatly to our efforts to get Lamiel back into steam. You will be able to point to the locomotive and say "I paid for a tube in that boiler!"
